Who We Are

  • Wesley Enterprise, Inc, established in 2003, is a scientific communications agency that helps pharmaceutical companies distill complex medical research – aligned with strategic and regulatory needs – to develop custom scientific content and educational tools which are used to inform health care professionals.


  • Job Title – Executive Assistant (EA)
  • Position Type – Full-time non-exempt or part-time
  • Location – Remote (90%) and Yorba Linda, CA (10%)
  • Reports To – President

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Execute tasks related to operations, team, and finance pillars
  • Develop, improve, or update documentation of above tasks
  • Use judgment to proactively present and execute prioritized options to solve business issues or improve business processes
  • Execute tasks related to non-scientific portions of client projects
  • Manage other vendors/assistants
  • Participate in selected leadership-level discussions
  • Help onboard and offboard team members
  • Manage your own work time
  • Willing and able to make decisions and take action in vague situations

What does Success Look Like in this Position?

  • Significant amount of President’s time is saved to focus on activities of higher value to the company.
  • Documentation for recurring processes involving the EA are current, succinct, clear, and follow predefined structure.
  • Work within company culture.

Minimum Requirement to be Successful

  • Permanent resident who is legally allowed to work in the United States
  • Bachelor’s degree from United States
  • Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing)
  • Highly computer-literate (PC user and experience with Microsoft Office suite a plus)
  • 3 (in the past 7) years of working experience supporting a C-level executive, or concurrently supporting multiple aspects of a small business
  • Experience in managing projects and leading others
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and productively from home at least one day a week
  • Experience developing detailed step-by-step processes that others actually use
  • Skilled in quickly researching for and prioritizing potential solutions based on circumstance, facts, and reliable information
  • Always reach out to help proactively

What Does a “Typical” Week Look Like?

  • Work is done at home with company-provided equipment most of the time, except for ½ day a week in Yorba Linda office.
  • Timely and accurately execute on recurring or planned tasks in operations, team, and finance pillars; improve process options/documentation if needed.
  • Timely execute on assigned one-off tasks by due date, researching options, and discussing with leadership as needed.
  • Virtually meet with President regularly. Facilitate team meeting every other week.

Compensation Package

  • Work at home (90%+)
